This short course introduces participants to the philosophical, spiritual and psychological dimensions of mantra chanting in the Indian knowledge tradition. It explores the origin, meaning, symbolism and significance of selected Sanskrit mantras, along with their role in meditation, concentration, emotional balance and holistic well-being. The course also examines the connection between sound, consciousness and inner transformation from classical Indian philosophical perspectives. Participants will gain both theoretical understanding and practical exposure to chanting techniques and contemplative practices. The course is suitable for individuals interested in spirituality, philosophy, wellness, yoga and cultural studies.
