This course is designed to enable students to acquire skills, knowledge and competence in working with local and imported clay on the potter's wheel, as well as with oxides and glazes. Students will be guided through the ceramic processes and procedures through active learning experiences. The course will encourage creativity, self-expression and the therapeutics benefits of engaging in the artistic process.
